Caroline Maxwell is a multidisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles. Her work explores systems of knowledge, and how we measure, classify, explain, record, map, observe, or preserve our worlds... and asks, “what happens if I enter that system as an artist?” Chance, coincidence, and curiosity become ways of moving between the known and the mysterious, where facts become questions, measurement becomes poetry, and ordinary things reveal the unexpected.
